Next Thursday, August 26 and Saturday, August 28, Casa Haas will be the setting for a bohemian evening with the function “Noches de Verano” (Summer Nights).

The duo fomred by soprano Lucía Beyles and baritone Carlos Rojas, will be accompanied on the piano by soloist Laura Hauer, an ensemble with extensive experience on stage, who selected a vast repertoire with the best of Latin authors who created beautiful melodies.

Some of the composers who will be remembered with their music during the performances will be Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Guastavino, Federico Moreno Torroba, Pablo Ziegler, María Grever, Consuelo Velázquez, Agustín Lara, José Alfredo Jiménez, among others, to mention some themes are “Granada”, “Bésame Mucho”, “Besos Robados”, “Alma Mía”, “El Corrido de Mazatlán”, “Júrame”, “Rojotango”, and “Alfonsina y el Mar”, among a great variety more.

Both evenings will begin at 7:30 p.m., access tickets are on sale at the Angela Peralta Theater Box Office at a cost of $150 pesos per person, the box office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, while Saturday is from 09:00 to 2:00.

People who access any of the functions must comply with the different security measures such as wearing face masks at all times inside the enclosure, applying antibacterial gel and sanitizing liquid, in addition they must show their Covid-19 vaccination certificate or bring their negative result of the Covid-19 test.

The Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, continues to promote and support any manifestation of fine art among the universe of virtuous musicians, as well as local and regional singers thanks to the commission of the Mayor of Mazatlán, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres.
