A vibrant and special night was experienced by the attendees who witnessed the concert “Summer Nights”, thanks to the powerful voices of soprano Lucía Beyles, as well as baritone Carlos Rojas, who were accompanied on the piano by soloist Laura Hauer on the stage of Casa Haas.
Bohemian and classical pieces, going fromt tango to zarzuela, creations of great composers from Latin America and the world, were interpreted awakening a different feeling in the select group that interacted alongside the musicians, and with applause they recognized the performance of the artists.
The songs they performed were “Chiquilín de Bachín” y “Los Pájaros Perdidos”, classics by the Argentine Astor Piazzolla; “La Rosa y el Sauce”, by Carlos Gustavino; “Del Cabello Más Sutil”, a creation of Fernando Obradors; “Alfonsina y el Mar”, ,an inspiration by Ariel Ramírez; La Marchenera- The Petenera, inspiration of Federico Moreno Torroba; “Rojotango” by Pablo Ziegler; “El Gato Montés” lyre by Manuel Moreno Penella.
Lucía Beyles and Carlos Rojas, are singers who had part of their training at the Centro Municipal de Artes, they are also fortunate to have performed in different stages of Mexico as soloists, they made it clear that they are prepared for the national opera scene.
This Saturday at 7:30 p.m. they will be presented again at Casa Haas, tickets are on sale at the Angela Peralta Theater box office.
