A vision inside her mind, soul and the depths of her dreams, is the reflected reflection of fine artist Gloria López Gavito, in the exhibition “Del Soñar y Algo Más”, which was inaugurated and will be on display forr the general public. from September 10 to October 14 at the Angela Peralta Gallery.
A total of 45 pieces including paintings and sculptures will be exhibited where, in the words of the author, they are the strength of her feelings, making her full of life, they come out of the depths of the subconscious, to express through art her experiences, as well as deep emotions.
“Del Soñar y Algo Más” represents the first individual exhibition for the Mexican artist, who in recent years has been very participatory in the Port and the country.
Zoila Fernández, Artistic Director of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, gave the words of welcome, where she congratulated the creator of the work. Then the artist cut the ribbon to receive recognition from the authorities.
The Blanconero group was present enlivening the afternoon with their music.
The exhibition will be open to the public for free from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., while on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., attendees must comply with the established health protocols.
Under the management of the General Director José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, has been characterized by supporting any art manifestation, thus complying with the instructions of the Mayor of Mazatlán, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, of bringing culture and the arts to all possible places in the municipality.
