Inspired by the verses of the collection of poems “Morir Amor Morir”, written with the fist and tears of poet Jesús Llanes Esquivel, a group of visual artists mounted a collective work with the same name, which was inaugurated on the night of Friday, September 24th and will be exhibited from Saturday, September 25th to Friday, October 29th of the current year at the Casa Haas Gallery.

This work will be open for free to the general public from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., while on Saturday it will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The work shows an intimate and different look at the book, where they merge the poetic installation with the object art, photos, verses, drawings, among other works of the group of artists made up of Patricia Carmona, Karen Reyes and Efrén Aguiñaga are appreciated. A screen projects a video created by visual artist Luis Spencer, fused with music by José Amador Santana, melodies inspired by the crude expressions of Llanes.

The words of welcome were given by Zoila Fernández Fernández, Artistic Director of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán.
