In order to bring culture and the arts to all corners of Mazatlan, the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, created “Sábados de Sindicaturas”, a space where local artists will visit the rural area to offer a special program, this Saturday, October 8th, Villa Unión will see the opening of this important project promoted by Mayor Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres.

It will be at 6:00 p.m. in the Plazuela de la Sindicatura located between Constitución and 16 de Septiembre streets, outside the San Juan Bautista Parish, where the musicians will offer their free concert.

Musicians from the Ángela Peralta Theater Orchestra and students from the Municipal Center for the Arts will be the protagonists of the afternoon with a program made up of a violin and cello duo, a brass ensemble with trumpets and trombones, and the CMA Undergraduate Orchestra.

The music festival will be made up of pieces by José Pablo Moncayo, some mambos by Pérez Prado, as well as classic works such as “Pizzicato Polka” and the Radetzky march by Strauss, among others.

One of the objectives of visiting the various sindcates, as well as the popular neighborhoods, is to promote the fine arts, since through art and culture more educated human beings are formed, capable of being better in society.

To continue with the rhythm near the sea, at the same time, this Saturday at 7:00 p.m., those attending Callejón Liverpool will witness another fun night in a family atmosphere with the production of DJ Saturdays where master Disck Jokey “Quasi” will be starring in another great night.
