At just 10 years old, for Melanie de Jesús Alarcón Bernal, being a candidate for Children’s Queen of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán “Déjà vu… 125 años de tradición”, has been one of her most great life experiences.

For Melanie, Carnaval Mazatlan is a very beautiful fiesta, year after year it reflects the joy that it causes among the inhabitants of this city, it generates employment and that is very good for the tourist port.

“My dream is to be the Children’s Queen of Carnaval because it is the greatest festa that represents all Mazatlecanss, it is a very beautiful and joyful tradition that we have, I am glad with all my heart to be part of this Carnaval,” said the candidate.

Melanie Alarcón defines herself as a happy and spontaneous girl, her favorite food is sushi and spaghetti, her main hobbies are playing video games and reading, her favorite reading are all the stories of “Anna Kadabra”, written by Pedro Mañas and David Sierra Listón, work where the witches are the good ones of the story.

Before concluding the interview, the girl aspiring to the children’s queen invited the population to enjoy the Carnaval festivities in the company of her family.
