Last Saturday at seven in the afternoon, the Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán presented the concert Canciones en Voz Baja, a musical experience of Jazz, Bossa Nova and love songs at Casa Hass.
Maestro Max Carreón, Samuel Antonio and the Americans Richard Eager and Raymond Griffin participated.
The evening began with the personal greeting of the artists welcoming the attendees; smiling and friendly, they generated a pleasant atmosphere to listen to their set list.
Third call was given, the musicians took their place on the stage and happy notes began to be heard, with great execution and quality, professionalism was evident, smiles in the audience were exchanged by the musicians on stage, there was the conviction that they were living the moment to forget daily life.
The theme Bluesette sounded with the singular seal of maestro Max Carreón on the marimba, the public applauded while the piece was instrumented, Raymond Griffin was pleasantly surprised by his interventions with wind instruments.
The platforms of the audience seats tapped to the rhythm of the melodies, Richard Eager with his voice gave a romantic serenade suitable in time and space, Samuel Antonio did not fail to accompany with his bass, the precise mode of the characteristic sound of the jazz.
The songs performed gave friendship, brotherhood and empathy to its members, the repertoire was wide, even the blues were heard, the musicians offered themselves and made the public feel the experience of being in a home session with twenty songs of J, Bossa nova and love songs.
