The Gala de Ballet that includes The Suite from Swan Lake and fragments of stagings of great brilliance on the international stage, arrives in Mazatlán Saturday, March 25th at eight in the evening at the Ángela Peralta Theater.

The National Dance Company makes a stopover in Mazatlán and presents within the Spring Season programming, a first-class dance show by dancers of international stature under the direction of Elisa Carrillo and Cuauhtémoc Nájera.

Swan Lake is one of the best-known traditional ballets in the world, considered the most spectacular work in the classical dance repertoire, where Tchaikovsky’s music is essential. It is a beautiful show full of romanticism where Odette, the white swan, represents good over evil (Odile, the black swan).

In this CND adaptation of the original work by Marius Petipa, international artists such as the first dancers Ana Elisa Mena, Mayuko Nihei, Blanca Ríos, Yoalli Sousa, Argenis Montalvo and Erick Rodríguez participate.

The program of the evening includes the interpretation of Romanza, choreography by James Kelly and music by Manuel Ponce; Planimetry of movement under the artistic gaze of Irina Marcano and music by Armand Amar and All long dem day by Marco Goecke with music by Nina Simone.
