The appointment is this Wednesday, March 22nd at Casa Haas.

To celebrate World Theater Day this Wednesday, March 22nd at 6:00 p.m. at Casa Haas, there will be a reading of the play “Polvo de Arcilla”, by the Durango author Casto Eugenio Cruz Sanchez.

Casto Eugenio Cruz Sánchez elaborated in “Polvo de Arcilla” a proposal that reveals the condition of the complex human nature. His concern for the problems of everyday man, such as emptiness, heartbreak, abandonment, violence and loneliness, finds effective projection through a wide imaginative verbal repertoire that he founds in great precursors, his teachers: Emilio Carballido, Ignacio Retes, Juan Felipe Preciado and Ludwick Margules.

For this reason, his dramatic texts reach an emphatic tone with powerful echoes that never produce indifference in the reader and, yes, a multitude of questions.

Barrio Corazón and the actors Javier Chimaldi, Laura García, Gaspar Velarde, Lucía Zapien and Julio Rocha will read the play “Polvo de Clay”, this Wednesday at six in the afternoon in the old house located between Mariano Escobedo and Heriberto streets Cold.

Admission is free and space is limited.

The event is coordinated by maestra María Muñiz.
