Students of the Professional Dance School of Mazatlán and Cecilia Sánchez Duarte present “La forma de la Palabra” [the shape of the word”, the last open class taught by the renowned fine artist to the students of the EPDM. The appointment is this Thursday, April 20th at 8:00 p.m. at Casa Haas.
“The shape of the word”, will be a visual tour of installations with conceptual, provocative, contesting statements through images, objects and their language of their words, there will be performances, happenings, all starring students of the XXX generation of the EPDM.
The open class of the Fine Arts Workshop of the Bachelor of Contemporary Dance of the EPDM of the Municipal Center of the Arts is aimed at a public willing to witness the new trends, there the guides will be the creators who will talk about the reasons for the sample and their creative processes.
The work of María Pérez Álvarez, “Route to extinction” poses: What world do we decide to build, destroy or rebuild, and how do we do it so as not to take the direct route towards extinction?; the artist will perform a performance with setting, with the participation of the public through the happening.
