The concert “Cantare tra amici” was a night to remember, starring mezzo-soprano Rosa Ferreiro, soprano Fernanda Osuna, bass-baritone José Lora and pianist Juan Pablo García, who on the stage gave a great recital in an event with a cause.

Casa Haas was the setting where a select group of spectators offered a warm farewell to Tijuana native Rosa Ferreiro, who in the coming weeks will travel to Spain to continue her artistic preparation to specialize in Rossinian repertoire.

Already on stage, the trio of soloists performed different opera arias such as “Cruda Sorte”, “Una voce poco fa”, “Di tanti palpiti”, inspirations from the renowned Gioachino Rossini, “Che faro Senza Euridice”, by Christoph Willibald Gluck , and beautiful classical musical pieces from the 19th century, singing among friends for a noble cause.

Given the outstanding performance of the soloists, who at times did duets and trios, the public recognized their effort and gave loud ovations at every opportunity, the most acclaimed being when they said goodbye, and before the unison cry of “another, another, another”, the young people did not hesitate to please them and performed one last song to close this beautiful presentation with a flourish.

The concert was presented by the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, which offers its spaces for the promotion of the arts.
