“We continue writing things that have to affect society, to show society that this must change, that we must have a much better world every day,” said Casto Eugenio Cruz Sánchez.

At Casa Haas, the actor and director from Durango participated in the theatrical reading of his play Polvo de Clay, which touches on social issues and personal issues, abortion, domestic work, death, mourning, addictions, corruption.

The stories were contextualized under public settings, the streets, and private spaces, homes, in them the daily nuances of setting and company: a radio station and its enthusiastic announcer contrasting the moods that concerns and occupations of Consuelo and Altagracia, exposed as characters in the reading of the play.

A reading that transported the public to informal and formal jobs, when working for innocence and when working for subsistence, a play in which adults, youth and children are given a place.

The reading of Polvo de Arcillo was liked and applauded, the children participating in the reading caused admiration and joy, Mérida Circus was that part of the text where we were very happy with the tenderness and innocence of each one of us.
