This Friday, May 12th at 7:00 p.m., Casa Haas will be the scene of the long-awaited “Viva Italia” concert, starring baritone Carlos Rojas and pianist Juan Pablo García.

Pieces that shine in the world of Italian operatic bel canto guarantee a brilliant musical evening.

For tonight the repertoire will be made up of works by Francesco Paolo Tosti, Eduardo di Capua, Ernesto de Curtis, Stefano Donaudy and Salvatore Cardillo.

Baritone Carlos Rojas has managed to establish himself among the best young voices of bel canto, his career in the last five years has been marked by successes, he managed to enter the National Conservatory of Music and the INBAL Higher School of Music, he won the “Mozart Prize ” in the Maritza Alemán Singing Contest in 2020 and was a scholarship holder of the Sinaloa Opera Workshop.

Juan Pablo García has stood out as a pianist, he has collaborated as a vocal coach in productions such as: “El Gato con botas”, “Rita”, “Carmen”, “Madama Butterfly” and “El Barbero de Sevilla”, he is currently a pianist and Vocal Coach of the Mazatlán Opera Workshop directed by Maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda and Maestra Martha Félix.
