The Municipal Center for the Arts registers a notable increase in the request for pre-registration and auditions to enter the workshops, technical careers and degrees related to Art.
The Educational Director of the CMA, Liliana Aréchiga announced that so far the system has produced more than 338 records of people interested in studying an artistic career.
Music, one of the most complex professions that requires great discipline, and Fine Arts are the areas of study with the greatest demand by children, young people, and adults.

The CMA of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán offers workshops on music, theater, fine arts, cinematography, engraving, children’s literature, poetry and minification, comics, folkloric ballet and classical ballet; At the Technical level, it has careers in Fine Arts, Music, Ballet and Theater Art.

In higher education, it offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, a Bachelor’s Degree in Singing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Dance.
“Right now we have around 328 records of new applicants for the next school year, something very important. From there the auditions will be held, the interviews to find out who can enroll in the next school year”, informed the educational director.

Aréchiga explained that people interested in entering the Municipal Center for the Arts must enter the CMA page http://culturamazatlan.com/es/educacion-artistica/ and as a next step the staff of the School Services department will make contact with the applicants to continue with the registration process.

Those interested in entering any of the careers related to Art should consult the educational options that are still open for audition registrations, and go from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to the CMA located on Calle Carnaval S/N on Plaza Machado in the Centro neighborhood, or ask for information at 669 982 4446 and 669 982 4447 ext. 110.
