Maestro Arturo Romero Ramírez will perform with the Symphony Orchestra of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León on June 29th at eight o’clock at night at the UANL University Theater.
Arturo Romero Ramírez is a violinist with a great career, he teaches violin and instrumental ensembles at the Mazatlán Superior School of Music and has been part of the Mazatlán Camerata since 2015, of the Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Artes de Mazatlán.
In Program VIII of Season 2023 Second Series of the Symphony Orchestra of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, maestro Arturo Romero Ramírez will perform works by Samuel Barber and Leonard Bernstein (American composers) under the artistic direction of Eduardo Diazmuñoz.
Eduardo Diazmuñoz, artistic director of the UANL Symphony Orchestra, referred to maestro Arturo Romero Ramírez as a very talented violinist who won the “Henryk Szeryng” contest in 1989 and it was he who suggested playing Barber.
Maestro Arturo Romero has performed under the baton of Kurt Redel, Fernando Lozano, Giusepe Lanzeta, John Shenaut, and Miguel Ángel Burciaga, among others; and venues such as the Dudley Music Hall, Palazzo Comunale, Teatro Degollado, Jones Hall and the Palacio de Bellas Artes have recorded the musical notes emanating from his violin.
