Originally from Mazatlán, Sinaloa and with an outstanding international career as a musician and arranger of renowned artists with international fame, Roberto Arballo “Betuco” left students of the School of Music and Singing of the Municipal Center of the Arts excited and motivated by giving a special class on musical arrangement techniques accompanied by a brief jazz session.
In his class he spoke about scales, major and minor chords and musical nomenclatures, encouraging all the singers and musicians present to create music that awakens emotions in human beings regardless of gender or age.

In the presence of drummers, pianists, trumpet players, violinists and singers, “Betuco” celebrated the harmony he felt during his class presentation.

He performed “Cuando volví a tu lado” as a soloist, and later invited Diana Villanueva to perform the song “La Llorona” as an accompaniment. Then came “Este terco corazón” using a musical track; rock also played in the Museum of Music and to conclude he presented pianist Gerson Leos, drummer Román Osuna and bassist Samuel Antonio to show that in music you can always hear something new.

The arranger Martín Castro commented that these events should be held more often since Sinaloa is a breeding ground for great musicians like Roberto Arballo “Betuco” who has traveled the world with his guitar and considered it a great honor to attend the class he taught.

At the end of the class, Liliana Aréchiga, educational director of the CMA, presented a recognition and thanked the internationally renowned musician from Mazatlán, Roberto Arballo “Betuco”, for his contribution of knowledge.
