The Iguana Roja company of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán under the direction of Ramón Gómez Polo will present the monologue “The darkness that swallowed the lovers”, on Wednesday, November 13th at 7:00 p.m. at Casa Haas, within the framework of the Mazatlán Cultural Festival 2024.
The play written by playwright Daniel Serrano is a complex monologue, difficult to do, that immerses us in the story of Eduardo who always speaks to a tape recorder. A father who narrates his dissatisfaction with life, with the world around him and shares with us his frustrated dreams and some passages that he has dragged from his childhood and that help to detonate his present and put an end to his silence.
Directed and performed by Ramón Gómez Polo, the monologue “The darkness that swallowed the lovers” is an intense and exciting work that challenges reality and leads us to confront the darkness that surrounds us.
Don’t miss the opportunity to experience an intense night at Casa Haas. “La oscuridad que se tragó a los amantes”, is a play that will leave you breathless, a performance that will be repeated on December 13th at 7:00 p.m. at Casa Haas.
