At the end of the award ceremony for the Election of Queens of the Mazatlán International Carnaval 2025 at the Ángela Peralta Theater, the curtain closed. The new queens hugged each other and celebrated the new triumphs.
Lucero I, had mixed feelings, when asked about her first impressions she expressed that the part she enjoyed the most of the contest were the demonstrations, however, completely moved she mentioned:
“This day is highly anticipated for me, it is a very special day, because today is my dad’s birthday, my dad passed away almost two years ago, for me it is very emotional, I know that he is very proud of me,” were Lucero’s first words upon winning the title of Queen of the Mazatlán Carnaval 2025, which with the motto “La Perla” will take place from February 27th to March 4th.
