Mazatlán will be dressed up for a fiesta with the special performance of the Mariachi and the Folkloric Ballet of the National Guard that will liven up the “Carnaval Afternoons” at Plaza Machado, on Saturday, March 1st at 6 p.m. and on Monday, March 3rd at 2 p.m.
During the days of the Mazatlán International Carnaval 2025 “La Perla”, Plaza Machado will be the perfect setting to enjoy traditional Mexican music and dance with the performance of the National Guard personnel.
A special touch will be the presence of Agents Justo and Paz, two mascots who have the mission of generating social proximity with girls and boys from the towns they visit. Agent Justo even obtained second place in the 3rd Mascot Race of the friends of Sergeant Bravo of the Secretariat of National Defense in July 2024.
This event is possible thanks to the coordination between the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan, the National Guard and the restaurateurs of the Plazuela Machado who, on this occasion, have organized to present the “Tardes de Carnaval” program in the Plazuela Machado.
The inauguration of “Tardes de Carnaval” will be on Thursday, February 27th at 2 p.m. and there will be artistic events every day with the intention of turning Machado into the perfect place for fun and family togetherness during the celebration of the greatest fiesta.
