With great emotions, fulfilled dreams and enormous gratitude towards life, Gloria Itzel Carrillo was crowned as the new International Queen of the Pacific 2025.

During Monday evening at the La Pérgola restaurant at the El CID Hotel, the pageant took place, which brings joy and beauty to the nights of the Mazatlán International Carnaval 2025.

There were ten beautiful women who came out to give their best smile and proudly wear their traditional costumes and elegant evening dresses, all ready to succeed and be the greatest beauty of the Pacific.

Gloria, originally from Culiacán, Sinaloa, managed to take home the three awards: Traditional Costume, Friendship and the crown of Queen of the Pacific.

Lucero Lizárraga, Queen of the Mazatlán International Carnaval 2025 was the one who crowned the new sovereign of the Pacific.

Esther Cárdenas obtained the title of princess with second place and Evelyn Carolina Hernández the third, both were crowned by the queen of the Floral Games, Desirée I.

Also participating in this contest: María Demeritus; Ada María del Rosario Gil; Karely Sánchez; Madelyn Alarcón; Diana Reyes; Lizbeth Navar and Katherine Burgos.

The jury was made up of Lucero I, current queen of the Mazatlán Carnaval, Desireé I, Queen of the Floral Games 2025, Bety Juárez Mexicana Universal Sinaloa 2025, Siu Ying, Children’s Queen of the Carnaval, honored for 25 years of reign and Marcela Valdez, Queen of the Floral Games 2014, currently coordinator of Queens.

Fernanda Beltrán, Miss Universe Mexico 2024, Cristiana Guillén, Queen of the Pacific 2023 and Miss International 2024, Frida Alissa Rincón, attended as special guests.

The magic of the carnival awakens illusions and inspires beauties to be part of culture and history.

Gloria Itzel Carrillo shares her emotions with us

How do you feel right now? Well, look, I’m really, really excited. Being in the Carnaval was one of my biggest dreams. I didn’t know how or when, but I said, I had to be here and now, winning and being the guest of honor next year, because I’m more than grateful.

What inspired you to participate? The truth is my family, the experience, and getting to know a little more about Mazatlán.

What can you tell people to encourage them to participate in this contest?: To encourage them, if they have the intention, do it. If you do it with a lot of passion and desire, you can get results.

What message did this Carnaval leave you with?: The culture, the warmth of the people, and more than anything, I was surprised to see how excited people were when they saw you. I’ll stick with that, really. It was wonderful. I loved it.
