The Instituto Municipal dr Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan invites children ages 6 to 12 to participate in the summer workshop titled “Surprise Factor,” which will take place from Monday, July 7th to Friday, July 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the “Ing. Manuel J. Clouthier” Municipal Public Library in the Francisco Villa neighborhood. The event is free.
This workshop consists of five sessions where participants will explore various activities that foster creativity and a love of reading. The sessions will include topics such as “Super Powerful Emotion,” “The Surprise Factor,” “Sweet Complicity,” “Poetry for the Soul,” and “Exploring Diversity.”
Throughout these sessions, children will have the opportunity to participate in crafts, games, and activities, all designed to help them integrate into the library environment and feel more comfortable using it not only for reading, but also for research and teamwork.
The materials for these activities will be provided by the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan, and paint and cutouts will be used, with the intention of making each day a different and enriching experience.
The workshop has capacity for 25 children, so it is recommended that those interested arrive early. Additionally, if anyone would like to invite friends or cousins, they are welcome! No prior registration is required; children can join the workshop directly.
The team leading these activities is made up of talented facilitators: Claudia González Medina, Irma Ozuna, Laura Rodríguez, and Pedro Aguilar, who are excited to share unforgettable moments with the little ones.
CULTURA invites parents to bring their children to the Library so they don’t miss this opportunity to make new friends, learn, create, and have fun.
