It’s never too late to discover an instrument, develop artistic sensitivity, and find a new form of expression in music. The Municipal Arts Center (CMA) is currently accepting registrations for its Music Workshop, aimed at people over 14 years of age interested in beginning or strengthening their musical training.
On Friday, August 21, at 4:00 p.m., a free audition will be held, an opportunity for those who wish to begin formal music studies without prior experience.
The Music Workshop is designed to stimulate creativity, expression, and communication through musical awareness and vocal and instrumental instruction. Applicants can choose from violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, trumpet, clarinet, guitar, percussion, trombone, bassoon, and French horn, in addition to taking solfège as part of their training.
