A free induction course for the Ángela Peralta Choir drew an impressive 35 aspiring members, exceeding the turnout expectations set by the Municipal Center for the Arts.
The workshop is open to individuals aged 15 and older; no prior musical experience or knowledge is required, allowing singing enthusiasts to take their first steps into choral music.
Training sessions will continue today, tomorrow, and Friday. Afterward, the group’s regular rehearsals and classes will officially begin on August 31.
María Murillo, director of the Ángela Peralta Choir, expressed her satisfaction with the enthusiastic response from the local community and reiterated that the choir’s doors remain open to anyone interested in joining, even if they were unable to attend the initial induction course.
