The Municipal Arts Center (CMA) offers a space for comic and manga enthusiasts. If you enjoy drawing, storytelling, writing, or simply learning something new and fun—and are 12 years of age or older—this program is for you.
In these Saturday classes (held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM) led by instructor Jennifer Beltrán Salazar, you will gain the skills needed to create characters and storylines and develop your own comics. Your drawing style doesn’t matter—whether it’s manga, classic, traditional, or digital—the goal is to let your imagination soar and develop the talent and creativity required to tell stories through comics.
Instructor Beltrán aims to take students’ abilities to the next level; she teaches from the ground up—even for those with no prior experience—guiding them step-by-step toward completing a major project within a fun, open, and safe learning environment.
Those interested in starting the admission process can register at the portal: culturacma.servoescolar.mx/admisiones.aspx. For further information, please call 669 982 44 46 or 47, ext. 106.
