As part of its community outreach, the Mazatlán Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism, and Art presented a new edition of the “Grandparent’s Tuesday” (*Martes del Abuelo*) program at the “Ing. Manuel Bonilla” Library—an afternoon of reflection, energy, and literary adventure.

On this occasion, librarians Karime Aglaed Tiznado Montaño and María Medina welcomed attendees and coordinated the “Literary Oracle,” an activity that has proven very popular with library patrons.

The Literary Oracle involves asking a question about the past, present, or future; the participant then selects a book and a page at random to read, receiving a poetic answer based on their inquiry.

During the afternoon of September 22, questions were addressed using works such as *Delante de la luz cantan los pájaros* (a poetry collection spanning 1953–2000 by Marco Antonio Montes de Oca), *Obras completas* (Complete Works) by Héctor Mendoza, *Poesía imprescindible* (Essential Poetry) by Guadalupe Amor, and *Antología Poética* (Poetic Anthology) by Pablo Neruda (the volume published by Alianza Editorial).

Following the participants’ literary and reflective contributions, it was time to play “Mazatlán Lottery” (*Lotería Mazatleca*); after several rounds, the afternoon concluded amidst laughter and excitement.
