Sandra Fernández and Carlos Cervantes will present their second and final performance this Friday, September 11, at Casa Haas.

Sandra Fernández and Carlos Cervantes—dancers with the Mazatlán Ballet Company—experienced an evening defined by sensitivity, elegance, and a close connection between the stage and the audience during the presentation of “From Classical to Neoclassical.” This successful production returns for a second and final performance this Friday, September 11.

For the performers, the show masterfully fused dance and live music within an intimate setting, allowing attendees to appreciate every movement up close in a romantic and inspiring atmosphere.

The repertoire included iconic pieces such as *Méditation* from *Thaïs*, *The Dying Swan*, Georgy Sviridov’s *Romance*, *Schindler’s List*, the *Coppélia* pas de deux, *Carmen* (Habanera), and *Las estaciones porteñas* (The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires) by Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla. The music was masterfully performed by Adagio Trío, a group comprising Juan Pablo García (piano), Víctor Osuna (violin), and Citlali Cisneros (cello).

The final performance takes place this Friday, September 11, at 7:00 PM at Casa Haas—a venue where the dancers will once again pour their hearts into the performance for the audience’s delight.

“We always aim for the next performance to surpass the last—to give a little more and express ourselves with greater depth. Even though the musical and dance repertoire remains the same, no two performances are alike,” the dancing duo noted.

“From Classical to Neoclassical” thus establishes an enriching artistic experience, where the visual power of dance and the expressive richness of live music combine to offer an evening filled with sensitivity, emotion, and beauty.
