With innovations centered on “Artisanal Intelligence,” Marysol Galván Pelayo—coordinator of the Art Walk (“Camino del Arte”)—is inviting local creators and those from across Sinaloa to register for the 2026-2027 season of this traditional cultural event, which boasts a history spanning over two decades.
The Art Walk is a self-guided cultural tour navigated via a map. Organized in collaboration with the Mazatlán Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism, and Art, the event will take place on the first and third Fridays of November and December 2026, as well as January, February, and March 2027, concluding on Friday, April 2, 2027. The event brings together dozens of creators who exhibit and sell their work in galleries and collective spaces, fostering direct dialogue between artists and the public.
This edition is expected to feature jewelry makers and visual artists—working in painting, sculpture, and photography—as well as artisans creating clothing and various other products. These items will be available for purchase, and the public will have the opportunity to interact directly with the creators, who will explain the origins of each piece on offer.
