Featuring a selection of 37 works by 22 artists employing diverse techniques, styles, and visions, the Andart Group invites the public to the opening of the group exhibition “Eclecticism” (*Eclecticismo*).
The opening event will take place this Friday, September 11, at 7:00 PM at the Ángela Peralta Gallery. The exhibition brings together portraits, landscapes, and abstract art, reflecting the creative diversity of its members. Highlights include portraits of figures from the worlds of art and politics, as well as iconic local personalities, created by painter Alberto Ramírez.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until October 2.
Alberto Ramírez, a representative of the Andart Group, noted that this collective of painters from Mazatlán is distinguished by presenting works that span both classical and avant-garde pictorial trends, while giving visibility to young artists seeking to establish themselves in the visual arts.
“The Andart Group has been exhibiting in Mazatlán for over 22 years; we always try to innovate or seek out representative themes. The group’s philosophy is that we don’t close the door on anyone who wants to make a name for themselves; our members range in age from 16 to 67,” he explained.
The exhibition runs from Saturday, September 12, through October 2. Viewing hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Admission is free.
