Following their outstanding performances during the “Music Day” (Día de la Música) events held on June 6th, participants received well-deserved recognition from the Mazatlán Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism, and Art during the first major event of the Autumn-Winter Season.
Before the “We Love Opera” (*Amamos la ópera*) musical program began, the artists took the stage at the Ángela Peralta Theater to receive their certificates and warm applause from the Mazatlán audience.
Julián Dozal, Director of Public Relations for the Mazatlán Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism, and Art, delivered a moving message prior to the performance:
“Before enjoying the ‘We Love Opera’ show, we want to take a very special moment to recognize those whose talent and passion made a magnificent celebration for our city possible: Music Day. It was a day when Mazatlán’s streets and public spaces were filled with sounds, voices, instruments, and—above all—the immense talent of our artists.”
For this reason, the Mazatlán Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism, and Art wishes to express its appreciation and gratitude to those who took part in this celebration, sharing their music, talent, and love for the arts with us.
“We want to thank you for sharing your talent with Mazatlán and for being part of our cultural life,” he reiterated. List of Award Recipients
