Accompanied by her inseparable violin, artist Nina Farvarshchuk, born in Odessa, Ukraine, will perform “The Four Seasons”by Vivaldi, one of the most listened to concerts in the world. The appointment is this Friday, March 17th at eight o’clock in the evening at the Ángela Peralta Theater.
The program includes the interpretation of the “Brandenburg Concerto”, the most popular of the series of six concerts written by J. S. Bach, with the performance of the Camerata Mazatlán and guest soloists.
Nina Farvarshchuk points out that Vivaldi composed many concertos for stringed instruments, for the harpsichord, and decided to dedicate a concerto to the seasons of the year.
“His idea was to represent each season, not only what the weather was like at that time, but also representing the activities that were carried out seasonally.”
Vivaldi tried to imitate nature, for example, in spring we can hear the birds singing, in winter we hear the cold wind, explains maestra Nina, graduated and titled as Orchestra Soloist, Concertist and Violin Teacher at the National Musical Academy of Odessa, Ukraine.
