The start of the third edition of Dialogues of our History this Wednesday, March 15th at five in the afternoon, marks the opening of Spring Season 2023, a multidisciplinary festival produced by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, with more than 70 events from March to July.

With the participation of historians, teachers, writers, among another group of select guests, “Dialogues of our history” will be held, a citizen forum created by the Instituto de Cultura to expose, cite, debate and provide feedback on issues of the region that make Mazatlan society proud.

Alonso Guerra, coordinator of Literature of the Municipal Arts Center and organizer of this event, indicated that this new edition will take place on Wednesday, March 15th, 22nd and 29th, April 19th and 26th, and on May 3rd, 10th and 17th, starting at 5:00 p.m., next to the portico of the Municipal Arts Center, on Carnaval street.

During the last edition, characters such as the maestro Javier Arcadia, director of the Ballet Folklórico de Cultura; theater director, Ramón Gómez Polo; Dr. Jorge Fuentevilla, member of the civil association Amigos de la Ópera y la Música, among others, were the protagonists of the afternoons of Dialogues of our History and addressed topics such as the reconstruction of Centro Historico, the impact of the arts in Mazatlán, and how life is through Mexican folklore, lectures that were educational for the hundreds of attendees.
