Strength, joy, vigor and respect for the traditions of our original peoples was the presentation that was lived on stage through “Origins” a folk dance show presented by the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan.

The spectacular event presented on Saturday night at the Ángela Peralta Theater showed the cultures and traditions of different states of the Mexican Republic through dance and music to transport us to our Origins.

The Folkloric Ballet of the Instituto de Cultura under the direction of maestro and director Carlos Javier Arcadia and dancers from the Youth Ballet, under the direction of Eric Carrillo and Oscar Montoya, made this colorful and joyful staging possible.

More than 50 dancers brought “Origenes” to life, which showed joy and passion for dancing through the regional songs chosen for that night.
In the first part they danced songs from: Baja California Norte, Nuevo León, Durango and Sonora Bronco and in the second round on stage: Mazatlán, Ensamble de Venados, Noches de Mazatlán, Sinaloa Contemporáneo, Coyote, Sauce y la Palma, Costeño, Sinaloa Ranchero, India Bonita, Niño Perdido, Cuichi and to close the Corrido de Mazatlán.

As special guests, singers Lucero Pineda Juárez and Ángel Ávila surprised with their spectacular voices. Lucero s sang:Magical night that transported us to our Origins!

The spectacular event presented on Saturday night at the Ángela Peralta Theater showed the cultures and traditions of different states of the Mexican Republic through dance and music to transport us to our Origins.

At the end, the entire cast appeared to say goodbye and director Javier Arcadia, grateful to the public, threw roses at those attending tonight.

This event is part of Spring Season 2023 of the Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism and Art of Mazatlán.; in turn, the young Angel interpreted: Red Sky, I already know that you go and kill them; finally they fell in love with the public with the traditional Corrido de Mazatlán.
