Un estruendo asombroso de percusiones

Como conductora invitada, la maestra Guadalupe Veneranda Páez, dio por iniciado el recital al invitar  al escenario al pequeño Luis Diego Borboa, que abrió con un sólo de la pieza Rolling in the Deep de la cantante inglesa Adele; seguido por el alumno Andoni Jared Calleja que interpretó la pieza Billy Jean del “Rey del Pop” Michael Jackson; y el último alumno como solista Juan José Heredia tocó en la marimba Martinillo del francés Frère Jacques. El evento continuó con obras de diversos géneros musicales,  piezas de música alegre entre ellas: Roll of Rumba de Vic Firt; La India Bonita en homenaje a la Banda Sinaloense; Marcha de las águilas de Mitchell Peters; y Triplets by four de Maxine Lefever. 
Entre cada intervención la maestra invitada compartió el contexto histórico que gira alrededor de cada pieza.
Los espectadores también participaron al cantar y aplaudir al son de las percusiones en: Moliendo Café de Julio Iglesias;Tequila del grupo The Champs; y Suavecito de la cantante Laura León. Inclusive, el maestro Manuel Rocha Lizárraga a petición, participó en la batería dentro de la pieza Manicero compuesta por el cubano Moisés Simons.  
Los jóvenes músicos fueron despedidos con fuertes aplausos.

An Amazing Clash of Percussion In the Experimental Forum of the music school, the students of maestro Manuel Rocha offered a lively percussion recital at the end of the present school year at the Instituto de Cultura of Mazatlan.   As guest host, maestro Guadalupe Veneranda Paez, started the recital by inviting little Luis Diego Borboa to the stage, who opened with a solo of the piece Rolling in the Deep by the English singer Adele; followed by the student Andoni Jared Calleja, who played the piece Billy Jean by the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson; and the last student as a solo artist, Juan José Heredia, who played Frère Jacques by French composer Martinillo on the marimba. The event continued with works of different musical genres, joyful music including the pieces: Roll of Rumba by Vic Firt; La India Bella in homage to Banda Sinaloense; The March of the Eagles by Mitchell Peters; and Triplets by Four by Maxine Lefever. Between each guest song, the teacher shared the historical context that revolves around each piece. Viewers also participated in singing and clapping to the rhythm of percussion in: Moliendo Café by Julio Iglesias, Tequila by the group The Champs, and Suavecito by singer Laura Leon.
