On Tuesday, November 4, at 8:00 p.m., the Angela Peralta Theater will receive what is considered the highest creation of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the greatest musicians in history: The “Mozart Requiem”.

This is the last work written by the genius of Salzburg that, according to legend, was created under a mysterious commission that sharpened his obsession with death and led him to think that this mass would be for his own funeral.

For this plea for the souls of the deceased, Mozart relied on Latin texts that capture the pain, hope, faith and fervent passion that death awakens and magnified them in a musical piece that has transcended in time for its ability to shake the deepest of the human being.

Under the direction of maestro Enrique Patron De Rueda, the Camerata Mazatlan and the Guillermo Sarabia Choir will deliver an authentic jewel, one of the most outstanding events of the 2019 Mazatlan Cultural Festival that will be an ideal way to continue honoring the deceased faithful od Dia de Muertos.

Tickets for the “Mozart Requiem” have a cost of 100, 150, 180 and 200 pesos and can be obtained at the ticket office of the Angela Peralta Theater from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
