Mazatlan is more than a beach destination in Mexico, a for tndhe first time the TVyNovelas Awards will be here, where there will be a shower of small screen stars on March 28 and 29 at the Mazatlan International Center.

At a press conference held in Mexico City, the Mayor of Mazatlan Chemical Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, accompanied by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, in charge of the General Directorate of the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte, and executives of the TVyNovelas event, gave the details of what this great event will be.

During his message, Quimico Benitez said he is convinced that Mazatlan is the ideal place to receive the stars of Televisa, a situation that will help grow this project which began with Carnaval, and there is an important agenda during the following months.

Eduardo Suárez, producer of the delivery, explained what the dynamics will be like to choose the finalists of each three of the prizes, where for this edition the dynamics were changed, since previously the public voted, this time a council composed of 75 people between producers, stage directors, executives and journalists of the show will be those who will issue a rating.

Some of the categories that will be in contention are best comedy series, best actor and comedy actress; Best drama series, best actor and drama actress; Suarez reiterated that the award for best host and hostess returns, a situation that creates a wide range of opportunities.

Producer Eduardo Suárez indicated that two thousand tickets will be distributed so that the citizens of Mazatlan attend the delivery, in addition that Karla Gómez, who will be the spokeswoman for the awards, and Omar Chaparro will be the host of the awards, there will be as usual a red carpet and in total a great production team.

Among the promotional agenda for Mexico City, the Mayor of Mazatlan along with the Head of the General Directorate of Cultura visited the television program Hoy.
