On Friday afternoon, the activities of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2020 at Casa Haas were virtually resumed with the “Puppet Workshop” taught by the Delta Teatro company.
Maestros Alejandro López and Pablo Gastélum guided a virtual audience with patience and clarity in making puppets through three techniques: glove puppets, shadow puppets and foam rubber puppets.
Throughout the workshop, they demonstrated their love and respect for an art that since ancient times has captivated the imagination and creativity of humanity with the creation of figures that become the protagonists of wonderful stories.
Recycled PET containers, scissors, cutters, tape, paste, newspaper, glue, water, brushes, paints, folders, sheets, pencils, cereal boxes and other materials were the basis for the development of this activity, an ideal opportunity for boys, girls and parents to unite through art.
