The Fine Arts area of the Municipal Center for the Arts will be the ideal setting for the opening of the “Aves de Lápiz” exhibition this Saturday, June 24th at 11:30 a.m.

With the exhibition of her work before family and friends, Estrella Navarro Tristán, a student of Fine Arts at the CMA, concludes the project “Aves de lápiz”, winner of a Scholarship from the Sinaloa 2022 Incentive Program for Artistic Creation and Development, (PECDAS). in the category of Adolescents creating new talents, in the discipline of Fine Arts.

The resources of the scholarship must be destined to improve the skills in fine arts and perfect the technique and in compliance with this requirement, Estrella created her pieces during the school year, a process in which she was advised by maestro Miguel Flores.

Under the guidance of the renowned fine artist, the young woman managed to create 16 paintings that will be exhibited this Saturday so that they can be admired by her family and schoolmates.

It should be noted that the members of the PECDAS jury responsible for selecting the scholarship recipients in the Fine Arts category and who approved the project of the student from the Municipal Center for the Arts are: Adriana Xalatl Hidalgo Gutiérrez de Lara, Florentino Carlos Márquez López and Diana Carolina Lopez Lopez.

For the 2022 edition, the objective of PECDAS was to reach a greater number of creators, including native communities, to strengthen the arts in Sinaloa, both in the creation of cultural products and in the attention to citizens, through work artistic development developed by the benefited creators in favor of the cultural offering.
