The lyrical singers Eduardo Tapia and Alejandro Pacheco, accompanied by Juan Pablo García on the piano, will star in “Vivo per lei” pop opera concert. The appointment is on Saturday, July 15th at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Casa Haas.

The public will be delighted with some of the most representative songs of the crossover of operatic technique and pop music, themes popularized by celebrities such as Il Divo, Andrea Bocelli, Il Volo, Sara Brightman, well-known mixes in the voices of Freddy Mercury with soprano Monserrat Caballé and the music from the well-liked concert by Pavarotti & Friends.

Tenor Eduardo Tapia, a graduate of the Bachelor of Singing from the Superior School of Music of the Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism and Arts of Mazatlán, expressed that both functions aim to bring the new generations closer to opera through pop.

The concert will feature the privileged voice of the interpreters Daniela Cortez and Rode Ríos.

“We have been wanting to present a crossover for some time, a mixture of pop music with classical vocal technique”, because sometimes the public feels far from opera that becomes more digestible if this technique is used to interpret lyrics that the public already knows, considered Eduardo Tapia.

Alejandro Pacheco and Eduardo Tapia are very familiar with pop since their musical foray was into that genre.

“I want the public to feel comfortable, to enjoy each piece a lot, to feel identified, even if they know it and to sing or hum it, also for these girls to have more experience because it is their debut, and for it to be a very pleasant afternoon, to relax and enjoy”, concluded the singer.

Eduardo Tapia has extensive experience on stage, has participated in operas such as: Don Giovanni, La Traviata, Trovador, Carmen, Madama Butterfly, among others, and has experience as a stage director in productions presented at the Ángela Peralta Theater.

Alejandro Pacheco is a member of the Opera Workshop of the Municipal Arts Center taught by Martha Félix and Enrique Patrón de Rueda, and is a member of the Guillermo Sarabia Choir; He has participated in operas such as Carmen, El Trovador, Dido y Aeneas, Sour Angelica, Madama Butterfly, among others performed in Mazatlán, Culiacán and Los Mochis.

Rode Alejandra Ríos Tapia is originally from Mazatlán, since she was seven years old she had her first contact with the arts by dabbling in ballet, then painting and two years ago she discovered her vocation for singing; she participated in the opera “Elixir de Amor”.

Daniela Cortés Ramírez has ventured into areas such as painting, dance and she is passionate about Musical Theater; she participated in the musical Grease with the role of Sandy.
