The best moments of the Di de la Musica festival were captured in images that will remain in public view until July 31st at the Plazuela Machado kiosk.
The 25 best images sent by the participants of the photography and video contest of Dia de la Music 2023 held on June 10th are exposed.
The inauguration of the exhibition took place last Wednesday in the presence of some of the winners of the exhibition convened by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán.
At the event, the General Director of CULTURA, Raúl Rico González, thanked the participants for their vision to preserve the memory of Centro Historico through images and videos that capture some of the most critical moments of Dia de la Musica.
It is a pleasure to be with you, we are very pleased that your work has been selected, he said.
The official stated that through photography and documentary video the participants contributed to safeguarding the historical memory of this great event attended by thousands of people.
Karla Jacqueline Aguirre, director of Multimedia of the paramunicipal, thanked all for the participation and enthusiasm of the public who, with her camera or cell phone, managed to capture the essence of the massive celebration in the streets of Centro Historico of Mazatlan.
“Music Day is the biggest event in Centro hiistorico of Mazatlán where thousands of people come to enjoy, dance and sing with music of all genres,” she said.
She thanked the winners and all the participants for their collaboration to share how Dia de la Musica is experienced in the oldest tourist area of Mazatlán.
The ribbon cutting was carried out by the participants Any Rodríguez Preciado and Christian Ricardo Maciel Aguirre, who also received recognition from CULTURA.
The winners of the Dia de la Musica 2023 photography and video contest are: Capu Bala and Las Paseadas del Dany, on video; Any Rodríguez Preciado, Cristian Ricardo Maciel Aguirre, Nancy Ávalos Osuna, Sergio Alejandro Valadez Longoria and José de Jesús Gómez Mejía, in photography.
The videos and photographs of the winners will be disseminated through the social networks of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán.
