Do you want to produce your show, but you don’t know where to start? Are you interested in learning fundraising strategies through scholarships, incentives or crowdfunding? If your answer is yes, actor El Josar will teach the Production Workshop to land your stage show, which will provide these and more tools.
It will be from September 12th to 14th at the Municipal Arts Center, when the actor and teacher of theatrical art will share his knowledge with people interested in devoting themselves to the arts, but due to lack of capital, planning, or lack of knowledge of strategies, they have not been able to move forward.
El Josar indicated that the workshop has a cost of $300 pesos, will be taught from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and since the date of its publication it has had a good response on social networks and in the records of those interested.
“The response has been very good. I tell them to encourage themselves to materialize the ideas they have in their heads, whether it is an event, a one-man work, a show, an event, this workshop will help them bring to life what they have been thinking about, to give themselves the opportunity to land the project,” exclaimed the teacher.
During the implementation of the workshop, those involved will learn to conceptualize their stage show in practical and sustainable terms, they will establish realistic objectives and goals, they will be able to visualize the project in numbers (budget, projection and impacted audience), they will see basic elements of a production portfolio, strategies funding, strategies to manage functions and artistic tours, among other things.

Who is El Josar?
He is an actor, writer with more than 13 years of experience, he has completed CEUVOZ diplomas; INBAL; DILA/BUAP; UNAM/LANMO; College of Central Europe and CEDRAM in the areas of writing, acting, linguistics and creative industries, among others, he founded the theater company “Río A Trote”, he has taught for 3 years at CMA, EPDM and independent spaces, he has been teaching to manage projects for more 10 years.
In addition to teaching the workshop, the artist will begin a Master’s Degree in Acting at the Royal Conservatory of Scotland in September 2023.
