Folk dance show at the TAP
This Sunday, November th at 7:00 p.m., the stage of the Ángela Peralta Theater will become the large dance floor that will host the show “Bodas de México”, a tour of typical dances that accompany weddings in some communities in Mexico.
The Folkloric Ballet of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlánwill perform pieces that are danced on this special occasion in communities of Chihuahua, Hidalgo, Veracruz, Nayarit and Yucatán.
In this new production by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, maestro Javier Arcadia directs the CULTURA Folkloric Ballet in “Bodas de México”, an unmissable show that promises a joyful and colorful evening, on one of the great nights of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2023.
The vigor, joy and talent of the Youth Folkloric Ballet of the Municipal Arts Center, directed by maestro Erick Carrillo, adds to the fiesta.
In the words of choreographer Javier Arcadia “Bodas de Mexican” is an adaptation of the wedding ceremonies of each urban, rural or indigenous region of different states of the Mexican Republic.
It will be a colorful and colorful show with traditional Mexican music, focused on the bride and groom, a different setup so that the audience leaves the theater happy and says ‘look what a good taste the boys left in our mouths’.
More than 60 artists will dance on stage and in addition to dance and music there will be various surprises for the audience.
