The programming of the XIII Gordon Campbell Season was presented at Casa Haas, which will take place every Sunday from January 7th to March 3th with the participation of world-renowned national and international musicians who will perform pieces for knowledgeable audiences but also for those who will attend the Ángela Peralta Theater and Casa Haas for the first time.
Given the musical plurality of the program, maestro Gordon Campbell recommends two concerts, one for beginners who are coming to the theater for the first time and are just getting into music and another concert for connoisseurs of the great pieces.
Which concerts would you choose to recommend to these audiences?
For beginners, I highly recommend “The Carnival of the Animals” by Camille Saint – Saëns – on Sunday, January 28th at 12:00 p.m. at the Ángela Peralta Theater, because we listen animal by animal, listening, imitating, and once If we listen to all of them then we can enjoy the entire piece with knowledge.
For connoisseurs, you can definitely come to Casa Haas on January 14 at 12:00 and 5:00 p.m. to listen to “Sextet in E flat op.81b for string quartets and two horns” by L.V. Beethoven, and the award-winning work of Joseph Miroslav Weber, and of course we cannot rule out Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony (March 3rd at TAP), putting Beethoven in second place makes me sad to say it, but for connoisseurs that Miroslav Weber’s work is very deep, new to most people.
As you can see, many of the pieces from other concerts have a jazz style, a thread of popular music so that people come and get closer to a very varied season, for all tastes.
