On the fifth occasion of Artwalk 2022-2023 this Friday, March 3rd starting at 4:00 p.m., Mazatlecans, national visitors, and international tourists and residents will tour the streets and visit the galleries of Centro Historico.

More than 50 artists distributed in 30 official galleries among painters, sculptors and artisans, will offer their genuine products to the national and foreign public, creating a different synergy because, in addition to fostering closeness between the spectator and the artist, it helps to raise the economy at the beginning of Spring.

The Artwalk, el Camino del Arte, puts all kinds of art on display to the public: paintings, ceramics, object art, digital art, photographs, Huichol art, woodcuts, and engravings, among others.

The Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, directed by Raúl Rico González, participates in the monthly activity. This time with the collective exhibition “Pablo Picasso” by the Zapatistas House of Cultura, in the Ángela Peralta Gallery “Brushstrokes” is exhibited and Trazos de Libertad” by the Cuenco de las Artes collective.

Some of the participating galleries are: Chameleon, Jon Juan, Nidart, Gloris Art, Collective of Women Artists, La Roosevelt Art Gallery, Casa Venus, Legado Zapoteco, Tanya Hoppe, Rubio Gallery and Ángela Peralta Gallery, the latter two located on the premises of the TAP [the Angela Peralta Theater], among others.
