Video games with extraordinary music by the Camerata Mazatlán under the baton of maestro Sergio Freeman Osuna can be enjoyed on Saturday, June 10th at 9 p.m. on the Plazuela Machado stage during the celebration of Dia de la Musica.
The celebration of the awaited fiesta in the streets and alleys of Centro Historic of Mazatlán is organized by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán and around 25 thousand people are expected to gather at four stages with live music continuously.
Maestro Freeman commented that on that day the Camerata will play classical and contemporary music; soundtracks of cartoons from the 90’s, movies and video games will form the repertoire to interpret.
Mario Bros, Halo, The Legend of Zelda, Tetris, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Knights of the Zodiac and Pokemon can be heard live and… Full orchestra!
He explained that the repertoire to be performed has been selected with the intention that the public can enjoy it and imagine it.
Referring to video games, he specified that they have extraordinary music and would not be the same without music.
While conducting the orchestra in rehearsals, the guest director of the Camerata Mazatlán commented that Dia de la Musica is now a tradition in this city where music is an important part of the life of Mazatlecans.
He finally invited the general public to witness this concert that will surely be unforgettable with the quality of the Mazatlan Camerata and the projection of video games on a mega screen next to the main stage.
