“Sueño suicida de una mano”, a work by Javier Márquez, had its stage debut with the performance of the members of Mazteatro: Ángel Abundis, Natz Landaverde, Ivana Hernández and Ana Urrea, who, in the company of Azoteatro, managed to fill the terrace Mr. Lionso .

The work is a play by different artists, Javier Márquez created the script, the production and direction is by Abundis and Landaverde, the musical part was in charge of Nartoomid Barraza and his group, a creative team that received academic and artistic training at the Municipal Center of the Arts.

Before starting, dozens of guests witnessed the musical intervention of Nartoomid Barraza, who, accompanied by his musicians, performed: “Since qué”, creation of Alejandro Sanz, “Desvelado”, a success in the voice of Bobby Pulido, and “Si te puede liar” by Marco Antonio Solís, among other songs that the public applauded.

In the core part of the show, four characters meet at the top of a building with only one thing in common: that day they have decided to die. But, is death really the only thing they have in common?

After the third call the actors came on stage: Ángel Abundis who played “Samuel” and the actress Natz Landaverde, giving life to “The Writer”, an unnamed character who was trying to finish her latest book from the top of a skyscraper and then jumping into the void, because according to her, that action would give her work a plus and help her become an established writer.

After reading the supposed end of her creation, actress Ana Urrea appears on the roof, and discusses suicide with “The Writer”, arguing that she – the second on stage – only went up to see, she did not jump from the heights to culminate with her life, all because he had a dream where she married him.

Strange noises are heard, they hide, and Ivana Hernández appears, who decides to jump, but Ana Urrea prevents her and the girl with suicidal thoughts gets upset because it was the most effective means to fulfill her last wish.

Faced with a strange event, “Samuel” appears with traces of blood, everyone observes that in the background there are patrols, a crowd, but they do not know what happened, the young man does not know if he jumped or was pushed, because he had a date in that place with his partner, He bleeds and doesn’t know what happened. After a series of dialogues, “The writer” discovers that he is the character in her work, but she does not know why he came to life, thus concluding this journey, followed by a series of applause.

Blessed by the opportunity, the directors of “Sueño suicida de una mano” provided a timely message where they thanked the public for their trust, that of their sponsors, and the support of the family and team to bring this work to stage.
