In the voice of the storyteller from Escuinapa, Gaspar Velarde, the public will learn about the fun universe of Florencio Villa, a character known as “El Güilo lies”.
The appointment is this Wednesday, November 22nd at 5:00 p.m. in Plazuela Machado, next to the porch of the Ángela Peralta Theater during the Dialogues of our History program.
Through the talk “Between Güilo’s lies and other stories”, the public will be able to learn about the entertaining adventures of the very popular character for the way he tells lies with humor, mischief and irony, which were captured by Escuinapense Dámaso Murua in the book “El Güilo mentiras”.
Dialogues through History is a program promoted by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, that every Wednesday brings together voices and figures from the region to Plazuela Machado to talk about various topics and characters.
Gaspar Velarde has a long career as a storyteller, writer and actor and in recent months his presentations have been focused on children.
