Carmen: Noche de Reconocimientos

Este jueves, el público que atestó el máximo recinto cultural colmó de aplausos al elenco de la ópera “Carmen” llevada a escena  como hace 25 años cuando se reinauguró el teatro; minutos después apareció en el escenario el Director General del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, Raúl Rico González para agradecer a quienes desde 1992 apostaron por el impulso a las artes como camino para construir una mejor sociedad. La ceremonia de entrega de reconocimientos estuvo presidida por el Raúl Rico y el titular  del Instituto Sinaloense  de Cultura, Papik Ramírez.
En su discurso Raúl Rico agradeció al público porque con su presencia han devuelto la vida y el esplendor al Teatro Ángela Peralta y al Centro Histórico de Mazatlán.
También agradeció a los artistas mazatlecos y aprovechó la presencia de Papik Ramírez para entregar reconocimientos  a Ricardo Piña Herrera,  Ángel Moreno, al Arq. Juan José  León Loya,  al Lic. José Ángel Pescador,  al Maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda y  al Ing. Ricardo Urquijo Beltrán (+) – cuya distinción fue recibida por su esposa Cecilia de Urquijo y su hijo Ricardo-, por  haber participado en la reconstrucción del teatro, desde la elaboración de los planos, la formación de los primeros grupos artísticos,  hasta  el desarrollo y profesionalización de las artes en Mazatlán.

Celebrating 25 years since the reopening of the Angela Peralta Theater, the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan paid tribute to those who participated in its reconstruction and made it possible for Mazatlán to be today, one of the main stages for the projection of the arts in Mexico. This Thursday, the public that witnessed the grand cultural venue filled with applause  for the cast of the opera “Carmen” brought to stage, just as it was 25 years ago when the theater was reopened; Raul Rico González, General Director of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan, appeared on stage to thank those who, since 1992, have bet on the promotion of the arts as a way to build a better society. The award ceremony was presided over by Raúl Rico and the head of the Sinaloa Instituto de Cultura, Papik Ramírez. In his speech, Raúl Rico thanked the public because with their presence they have restored life and splendor to the Angela Peralta Theater and the Centro Historico of Mazatlan. He also thanked the Mazatlan artists and took advantage of the presence of Papik Ramírez to deliver acknowledgments to Ricardo Piña Herrera, Ángel Moreno, to Architect Juan José León Loya, to Lic. José Ángel Pescador, to maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda, and to Engineer Ricardo Urquijo
