A new cycle of screenings begins at the Municipal Cinema: “Reflections on Childhood”, beginning with the film “Capernaum” by Lebanese director Nadine Labaki, winner of the Judge´s Prize at Cannes 2018.

“Capernaum” is a serious and powerful drama about a child struggling to survive, creating an extreme empathy to capture the dynamics of suffering of millions of children in the world.

Zain is a child who does not know how old he is and is paying a sentence for having stabbed a man; But this is not why he is standing in front of a judge, but to sue his parents, the crime? to have brought him to this world.

The film will be screened this Saturday, June 1, at 7:00 p.m., at Casa Haas, in its original Arabic language with subtitles in Spanish. Free entry, with limited space.
