With an extraordinary script and with a perfect performance, the Red Iguana company presented the play Ajedrez within the programming of the VI Theater Show, which is included in Spring Season 2019 organized by the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan.
A creation and interpretation of maestro Ramón Gómez Polo, accompanied by Giovanny Armenta, dramatized the story of the struggle of a father who overprotects his son.
Alone after the death of his wife, the father protagonist and his son go through difficult situations that later on, having become an adult, “Alberto” unveils his traumas of childhood and in turn discovers that in spite of everything, his father always tried to give him the best.
With this play, meastro Ramón Gómez Polo debuts as a playwright, defending that history is based on real passages.
The audience was left with their feelings on the surface, in this function held at Casa Haas, where the presence of the director of the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan, Marsol Quiñónez.
