Mazatlan, Mexico and the world, have a high academic campus in the Municipal Center of the Arts, training children, youth and others who have a taste for fine arts in different areas.
In a press conference headed by the Mayor of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres; Marsol Quiñónez Castro, General Director of the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte; and Juan Manuel Flores Vázquez, Director of the CMA, invited the public to be part of the different workshops, technical careers and degrees offered by the best academy of arts of the northwest of Mexico, a process that ends in July.
Flores Vázquez indicated that the auditions to enter the next school year in relation to the Professional School of Dance of Mazatlan, will be on May 17 and 18. Those who wish to be part of the auditions will have to present an elaborated application as well as the payment of the same, in addition to meeting the requirements according to the type of education that thy want to receive.
Other options offered by the CMA are the Workshop and Technical Career in Fine Arts; Classical Ballet Workshop; Workshop, Technician and Bachelor in Singing; Workshop, Technician and Bachelor of Music; Children’s Workshop, Workshop and Technical Theater Career; as well as the Literature and Cinematography workshop.
Among the most recent achievements of the current students of the CMA, was highlighted the triumph of the second place obtained by student María de Jesús Herrada López in the International Contest Sinaloa de Canto 2019.
